Education and career Counsellor Karan Gupta receives award at the Wharton Business School, USA.
Karan Gupta was felicitated at Wharton Business School for his outstanding work in the field of education and skill development programs for the underprivileged.
A Harvard and IE Business School graduate, and founder of Karan Gupta Education Foundation, he states, “It is a great honour to be recognised and appreciated at one of the world’s top most universities. I will continue to innovate, educate and change the world. My mission is to transform lives - one at a time."
Other receipts of the award include London School of Economics, Labster, Byju among others.
Earlier this year, Gupta was awarded the ‘Outstanding Contribution to Education’ award at the National Education Awards in India as well as the Times Genius award, by the Times of India group.
Karan Gupta is an education and career counsellor located in Mumbai, India and helps students with their study abroad, admissions and higher education and career options. He has been counselling students since the past 17 years.
Karan Gupta Education Foundation’s activities include a power women business talk and seminar, where leading women from India including famed Bollywood actor, Sonam Kapoor, motivated people with their business stories. In addition to this, the foundation set up mobile repairing courses for physically and mentally challenged people, enabling them to find jobs. Other activities include giving seminars and talks on careers and education at various schools in slums in India.
